Activities

Our mission is to enhance security of Information Infrastructure and Communication of TP's Internet community through proactive and reactive activities.

The main goals of TP CERT activities are as follows:

• to assist users of the TP network in implementing proactive measures to reduce the risks of computer security incidents, in particular by: providing consultancy and education services; providing information on network and computer security and warnings of possible attacks,
• to assist users of the TP network in responding to such incidents when they occur, in particular by: providing a single, trusted point of contact in TP for Internet users to deal with network and computer security incidents in which TP CERT's constituency is involved; coordinating incident handling with emphasis on exchange of information between interested parties.

Membership

	TP CERT has been a full member of FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams) since 25 July 2011.
	TP CERT has been involved in the TI (Trusted Intruducer) initiative since 12 July 2001.

The TP CERT's constituency is the Internet community of TP (including both individual users and corporate customers). It contains networks and systems connected to the TP network (AS5617, AS29535, AS33900). More information about our address-space is available at the RIPE NCC web site.
